Blue Heelers is a police show all about the crimes and lives of Mt Thomas people. The place it self is a medium sized country town with a population of about 10,000. The nearest town is St Davids, a coal mining township. The two stations - Mt Thomas and St Davids are always helping each other out with their dirty work.

The show first started filming back on 22 November 1993 and was first aired January 1994 on the Seven Network at 7:30pm untill early 1995 when they moved it to 8:30pm. Now it is on Channel Seven, Wednesday nights at 8:30pm in Australia.

Each week 3 million veiwers tune in to watch the next nerve racking episode of BLUE HEELERS.
