Act 52 Stars 10

In February 1997, one of the greatest manga (IMO of course ;) came to end. This end was marked by one of the most anticipated events, the wedding of Tsukino Usagi and Chiba Mamoru.

For a translation of the original Nakayoshi version, go here. (this isn't the version that appeared in the tankoubon)

Note: If I get a good response from this page, I might add some more pictures!

Mamoru awakes and sits up in the enormous bed he shares with Usagi. He looks down at her lovingly.

He leans over and kisses her, waking her up.

She opens her eyes and they say ohayou to eachother as he runs his finger down her face and and she reaches up to touch him.

Usagi says that she feels like she has been having a long dream. As the sun rises over the crystal palace, Mamoru asks her what kind of dream it was, but she clutches the sheet and says she doesn't remember.

Then she rolls over and turns to Mamoru.

She asks him to say those words one more time. He objects by saying that he already said them fifty times last night, but she asks him to say them once more.

He smiles and says he'll do it one last time.

As he kisses her, he says "Marry me, Usa."

The scene switches to the inside of a chapel, where Usagi and Mamoru kiss, sealing their vows.

They part as a light shines in Usagi's chest. Mamoru asks her what is it.

She says that she felt something. A star was being born inside of her, their daughter will soon be born. Mamoru just looks at her in shock.

Usagi asks him if they will always protect this planet together, if they will always live together. He says that they always will, and they kiss again.

They seperate and she runs to the other senshi. As Mamoru looks at her, he thinks that while the rest of them may be gone, Usagi will always be immortal, she will always be the most beautiful, brilliant light.

The end.
