Jay's Greatest Hits is the result of a poll conducted in JayNews, a newsletter he used to send out. He asked his three fans to vote for their favorite songs. He assembled the results into this extensive collection, which is a great introduction to the wide variety of material he wrote. Also included are three rarities: an "unplugged" version of Liar in the Mirror, Going Going Gone performed with his short-lived band The Abstractions (David Gowler and Scott Haworth) and The Dots' version of Madonnawannabe.
