Sunset
October 5, 1997

Where the ocean meets the sky,
When the day comes to its end,
All eyes soak up the beautiful site
Of the horizon's colorful blend.

Indescribable colors melt together,
Capturing the attention of you,
Contaminating the majestic sky
With its lovely, colorful hue.

Priceless is this picture,
Impossible to clone.
Such original designs,
Each night has its own.

Swallowed up by the horizon,
The sun slowly fades away.
Disappearing into the night,
Few of the lingering colors stay.

In a blink of an eye,
The colors dissolve,
Overcome by the sky's darkness.
And the stars, as they evolve.
