U.S. Territories and Outlying Areas
Did you know that there are several territories that the USA owns? I didn't know that until I started research for this page. And just what are these territories, you may ask! Here is the list;
Puerto Rico
Guam
U.S. Virgin Islands
American Samoa
Northern Mariana Islands
Midway Islands
Wake Island
Navassa Island
Johnston Atoll
Baker, Howland, and Jarvis Islands
Kingman Reef
Palmyra Atoll
I have decided to write on just a small section of the list. Can you tell which ones it will be?
(look for the gold!)
Since these islands are placed about the ocean and some don't even have a docking port, there is no way we can travel to them in our
'57 CHEVY !!
But what we can do, is all pile in our cars and drive on down I-75south ( if coming from the north) in caravan style to:
Sarasota Florida.
Once there we can check into the same hotel that the USA Drifters, members stayed at for their yearly reunion of this, internet virtual travel club. And then we can use the media room there, where we can show "this" webpage' on their super size movie screen. Besides the weather is nicer there too. LOL !!!
(~wow~ what a site that would be all those '57 CHEVYs cruz'ing down the highway! listening to those oldies but goodies tunes! ~wow~)
