The Altair Planetary System Sector is currently restructuring. We have been dormant due to health, and the economic problems that everyone has faced in the last decade. We here on Altair 7, have decided to do a re-start of our sector. We are not even sure if we are still members of the UFP due to our inactivity. If that is the case, we will find another host for our site. Please be advised that we are hard at work to solve all of our internal problems. A heartfelt Thank You to all of our officers, and members who have stuck by us during these extremely trying times!




Beginning on stardate 0415.02 (April 15, 2002) Altair 7, and The Delta
Quadrant Military Alliance shall be introducing a system of awards.
These awards will be in the form of Medals.
The medals shall be given for service rendered to this chapter, and or
the sector. The medals shall be hung by the Individual officers name
in a space provided for such honors.
All medals shall be in an ascending format, ie like the U.S. military
system of medals. The more service rendered,....the higher the medal
awarded.





The Chaplain's Communique......
Even before the early beginnings of space exploration, man has wondered exactly what resides in the realm of
space. One of the first Russian Cosmonauts, when in space, stated, "I do not see God". He spoke through the
mentality of man and not through the eyes of Faith. Psalm 19:1 the Bible says, "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork". It is faith in God that gives us the only true understanding
of the heavens. It is not that we see God in the heavens but that the heavens reveal to us his glory. As we
explore the vastness of space, we should keep in mind that the Bible says that the heaven and heaven of
heavens cannot contain God. There is no where we can go without him. There is no where we can go before
him because he is everywhere present. What we need to do is go everywhere "With Him".
A popular statement given to those who went out to accomplish some great task was, "Go with God".
This takes faith and it is what we need today. To take each step with the assurance that God is there taking
