THE WEBTOOL has space for two personalized utilities, YOUR DIR and YOUR SIG's, both explained below. To activate them, you need to transload both THE WEBTOOL and MULTI-SIG to your homepage directory, and do a little work, which is explained below. To get the URLs for transloading, click on the following:

MULTI-SIG

This is for a link to an EASY EDIT index file for your homepage directory. An explanation and insructions for setting up an EASY EDIT file are here.

Once your EASY EDIT file has been created, edit your copy of THE WEBTOOL to link the "YOUR DIR" button to the file. Go to the section of the source code which contains [value="YOUR DIR"]. Enter the URL for your EASY EDIT file in the space now occupied by the URL for this notice, as follows: [action=" https://members.tripod.com/~kornsplatt/notice.html"]. Save the edited file and you are all set with a very handy utility.

With Tripod, at least, at any time you can go directly to view a file by clicking on it in YOUR DIR from THE WEBTOOL, from wherever you are on the internet. Click on a file to edit, if you are logged in, it will take you directly to the file. If not, it will take you to LOG IN and then the file.

For WebTV Clasic users, only, the MULTI-SIG tool, produced by Prototype-1, provides a convenient means of storing up to 12 different e-mail signatures and changing to any of them with just a couple of keystrokes. The MULTI-SIG tool is available for transloading here.

There are some instructions included in the souurce code. Additional help is available in this tutorial. NOTE: Disregard the tutorial instructions in the section entitled, "Getting The Multi-Sig". TIP: Make one stored signature blank for e-mail to PC users.

Once you have MULTI-SIG set up, edit your copy of THE WEBTOOL to link the "YOUR SIG's" button to the file. Go to the section of the source code which contains [value="YOUR SIG's"]. Enter the URL for your MULTI-SIG file in the space now occupied by the URL for this notice, as follows: [action=" https://members.tripod.com/~kornsplatt/notice.html"]. Save the edited file and you are all set to change e-mail signatures with ease.

If you transloaded THE WEBTOOL to your site, you need to edit the "today's date" source code to reflect your time zone. Data for editing are provided with the source code for the date.
