God placed us on this earth to serve others. What better place to serve our Lord than the United States of America? Where everyone is allowed to worship and serve in his or her own way without fear.

I am proud to be an American and live in a free society where one can enjoy the freedom to be with his family, children and grand children and enjoy the things he likes best. Like surfing the Net and meeting new and interesting people. I have a new cyber friend named Mike in Germany and Lynn, Marty, Jake & Chad here in the USA.

I proudly served my country in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years. Then my community as a police officer for 25 years. I also served as Director of our Local Juvenile Detention Center for over 6 years before health problems forced me into involuntary retirement. So I guess I was of providing service to others for over 35 years and I am proud of it.

So to all of you out there, and especially police officers everywhere, God Bless you and keep you safe from harm. Keep your head down and your powder dry.
