Afternoon in the Park

This is one of my first ventures into the smaller, 8.5 x 11 size pages. I got interested in doing this size after thinking it was time to start on an ABC album, but wanting to keep it affordable. And, I must say, it is a LOT cheaper than the 12x12 size, but it does require a different perspective.

This layout is quick and easy because no cutting or matting is required. The interest on this page is provided by the journaling, which is done on squares of paper that are cut to fit. I used a yellow opaque writer for the journaling, and topped it all off with a small, yellow butterfly die-cut.
