Plaza Hotel to Van Noy Mansion: From hotel, go left onto Main. Take a right onto 47th Street (next light). Take a left at the next light, J.C. Nichols Parkway. Take a right at the next light onto Ward Parkway. After 1 mile there is a fork in the road. Veer left at the fork, taking Ward Parkway up the hill. Follow Ward Parkway to MEYER CIRCLE (with fountain as a landmark, just south of 63rd street). Turn left on Meyer Blvd.(east)(follow around the fountain for a left turn) for 3.5 miles to the entrance to Swope Park. Go through the entrance and take the first right. Follow that road for 0.5 mile to a stop sign. Turn right on Elmwood by lake and Van Noy is 0.2 mile up the hill on the right, parking lot on the left.

!Driving in from Elsewhere? Another route to Swope Park (Van Noy and Zoo) includes travelling to the Gregory Blvd. exit off I-435 (Exit Number 67). Head West after exiting until you reach the Park and continue until a right turn on Elmwood.

Van Noy Mansion to Zoo: Go right out of parking lot. Take a right at the stop sign (just through first set of gates). Go through another immediate set of gates (Rhino on top of gates) and take first left. Ignore first right (Zoo Entrance sign) and take either the second or third right into parking lot. If you go through another set of rod-iron gates with a Hippo on top, you have gone too far!

Zoo to Plaza Hotel: Retrace steps to Van Noy Mansion. Take Elmwood beyond the mansion and go right onto Gregory. Take Gregory for 4 miles to Ward Parkway. Turn right onto Ward Parkway. Ward Parkway will wind around to the right. You will end up on the other side of the creek from the Plaza. Turn left at J.C. Nichols Parkway / Baltimore. Turn right at 47th Street. Go left onto Main Street. Hotel is on right.
