Welcome to my artifact page!
Below are some artifacts I have collected from the Tn./Ky. region, and a few I have traded for. There's nothing I enjoy more than pickng up a "killer" point, knowing I'm the first one, in thousands of years to touch it! I hope you enjoy my finds as much as I do. Rob

Here's an unfinished Celt I got off my brother from N.Y.. He had found it in his daughter's rock collection, and thought I'd might like to have it. (of course!) It's made of Black Granite with white speckles. It' 3½ inches long and 2 inches wide. The bit is finished, and has a good polish, but the poll is not, still showing it's original pecking. Thanx bro.

This Classic Pinetree was found in Davidson Co.,Tn.. To date, this is the only Classic Pinetree I have ever seen come off this site. It is 1¾ inches long.

Here's a Flaked Celt and a Hoe. Both were found in Cheatham Co.,Tn.. The Celt is 5 inches by 2½ inches, and doesn't show any sign of use. The Hoe is 5 inches by 2 inches, and has heavy polish on the bit. The Celt is made of Molted Cert and the Hoe is made of Dover.

This Abraiding Stone was found in Davidson Co.,Tn. It is 3½ inches by 4 inches. I have found many of these, but this one has the deepest groove of them all. Most have grooves on multiple sides including this one.

This Pebble Pendent was found in the washout of a cave in Dekalb Co.,Tn. It is 1½ inches by 1 and one-eights inches. It is made of yellow sandstone. Maybe yellow ochre.

I found this Two Holed Expanded Adena Gorget after a backhoe was re-channeling a spring that lead into a creek in Wilson Co.,Tn. One break was historic and the other break was from the backhoe. It's still an excellent piece though. It's made of Black Slate and is 4 inches long and 1¼ inches at it's widest point. There is also a Slate Point. I found both halves on two different occasions, if you can believe it. I think it's some kind of Adena style point with just the tip missing. There is also a slate rubbing stone. The Cone was found in Davidson Co., Tn., and the Bone Tools where aquired here and there. The Red Stone is an undrilled bead. I have only seen one other like it at a C.S.A.S. (artifact) show. The triangular artifact, and it's description are below.

I have no clue to what this artifact might be. It was found in a cave along the Cumberland River in Wilson Co.,Tn.. It is 1¼ inches long and 1 inch wide and ¼ inch thick. It looks as though it had been charred and then incised to the point of breaking. It's not a piece of pottery, the material is too hard. It has a silverish appearance on it's edges. Any comments on this artifact, would be greatly appreciated.

This Osceola point was found in Logan Co.,Ky.. It is 2 and five-eights inches long and 1 and three-eights inches wide. It has excellent basal grinding and doesn't show any sign of resharpening. It's one of my favorites of my collection.

This Adena Blade was found in a rockshelter in Rutherford Co.,Tn.. It is 4½ inches long and 1¼ inches wide.

A Bottleneck Benton, It was found in the washout going into a sinkhole leading to the same rockshelter as the Adena Blade above. It is 2¾ inches long.

This Pickwick was found in Logan Co., Ky.. It is 3½ inches long and 1½ inches wide. It has excellent flaking for this point type and is made of blue and yellow flint. Great piece!
