Everyone's favourite AUNT....the glue that kept the families together...the one who NEVER forgot your birthday, ALWAYS made sure you had a warm winter with a wonderfully knit sweater,cap and mitts.
Moved from INDIAN BROOK,VICTORIA COUNTY, to Sydney as a young girl,and lived with her mother,MARY, until she (Mary) passed away. Married Charlie Estano, a Sydney Plumber and the family lived at 102 Rockdale Ave. in Sydney.
A strong, religious person, Agnes lived a life that the rest of us, continually hoped to...but rarely succeeded.
Deeply missed by all...

2. Mary URQUHART (photo) was born in 1836 in Harris,Lewis,Scotland. She died on Feb 8 1915 in North Shore,Vict.Co.Ns. She was buried on Feb 8 1915 in Pioneer Cemetary, French River,NS *. Her father came from Loch Broom...perhaps she was born there??
The 1871 census lists her at 35 at this time...makes her born on 1836...could not write, but could read.
She was married to Angus MAC LEOD ? in Harris,Lewis,Scotland. Angus MAC LEOD (photo) died on Apr 7 1882 in North Shore,Vict.Co.Ns. He was buried on Apr 7 1882 in Pioneer Cemetary, French River,NS *. He was born May26 1833 in Harris,Lewis,Scotland. The PIONEER CEMETARY is located about 200 feet on the Sydney side of the French River Bridge, which is about 3 miles past Breton Cove, The cemetary is located on the water side of the Cabot Trail.On the left (upper) side of the road is a large 2 storey home with 2 dormers. The road to the cemetary is JUST BEFORE THIS HOME.The cemetary is about 1Km from the highway...well maintained. (Lloyd & Rita Mac Donald visit to site Nov.24-1996.)

Jessie MAC LEOD was born in 1856. 1871 census lists her at 11 yrs +8 vi. Mary MAC LEOD. 9 vii. MAGGIE MAC LEOD was born on Jan 26 1879 in Plaster,NS. She died on Nov 21 1901. 10 viii. Catherin (sic) (Katie) MAC LEOD was born in 1867 in Plaster,NS. 1871 census lists her at 4 yrs
