| This was a Luftwaffe receiver. It had 14 tubes, BFO, Xtal,Fone-CW, and selectivity switch. It covered 750 to 14,000 kc. I can remember changing the 14 meg coils to put it down to 28 megs. It was a real problem. I borrowed a sig. gen to align it. When I was in the hosptal for three months. Someone stole all the tubes out of it. Some new radio sgt. had even taken my D4 license. It didn't matter much as they shipped me home two days later. I had planned on shipping the ham equipment home but didn't have the time. On the left of the picture, but not visible too well is one of the two German 5 meter transceivers I had. |
