This is a test page...I was playing around with a pattern I found on a site in Kiev Russia, but the pattern was typed out in x's periods and forward slashes. So, I was able to figure out where the spaces and blocks were supposed to go, but if you look at it on the kiev site (see below link), it looks as if there is some pretty fancy stitching in it. I just graphed it out as "basic filet". Here's the site I found this pattern at, but sadly, the site is no longer on the 'Net as of November 1998: http://sprat.gu.kiev.ua/H/CR/CROCHET.8 You are at https://members.tripod.com/~lhamm/kievbird.htm Materials: Bedspread Weight cotton thread (size 10) or smaller if you prefer. Note: This is a basic filet pattern. Spaces = ch 2, skip 2 sts, 1 dc in next st; Blocks = 3 dc in next 3 sts. Odd numbered rows are worked from right to left and even numbered rows are worked from left to right. I like to do filet project starting at the bottom of a chart and working my way up to the top. Good luck! :) Chain 42. Dc in 4th ch from hook and in each ch across (31 dc). Ch 3, turn. Continue working according to chart towards top. Back to Crochet....Gotta Love It!.
