The Magic Bonsai Tree
Robb Scott co-authored this story with a fellow teacher at SIU-C Niigata's campus in Nakajo, Japan. Each new episode became the learning text for beginning-level Japanese students of English. Utilizing simple vocabulary and their impressions of the local Nakajo context, the teachers encouraged very rapid progress in listening ability among their students. Students anticipated upcoming events in the storyline and so actually participated in developing the story themselves.

How to Use Your Summer Vacation
