This section includes pictures of some of my friends and myself skateboarding. It also includes a brief summary of the "skate scene" here in memphis. This section isn't to great right now but in time i will greatly improve it. i plan to add more pictures. Also some new pics and info on the new skatepark in memphis. enjoy.

memphis skate scene...what a joke! -- september, 1997 --

It is pretty sad when a kid can't enjoy his favorite past time without a fat, donout eating, pig always hunting him down and arresting him. I am sorry to say this, but Memphis is that sad. I can hardly ever skate my favorite spots without constantly having to watch out for the 5-0's. The police here always seem to have the time to screw with the skateboarders, when they should be focused on all the robberies, gangs, and killers. Is it just me or is the crime rate in Memphis pretty high? The most retarted thing is this whole time they have told us that we are not allowed to skate these places, they haven't bothered to build any skateparks. However, I am happy to say that this summer, after many requests and petitions, the good ol' city of Memphis is finally going to constructe an all concreate skatepark. ABOUT TIME! I know that I have told you how bad the city of Memphis is on skateboarding, but that definetly is not saying that Memphis doesn't have alot of rad skaters. We have many great skaters, just a terrible place for these skaters to be. Well, i guess that is enough whining and complaining for now. bye.
