well... i started reading ElfQuest when i was 9. i loved it immediately 
and nagged my cousin to continue to bring me my fix of EQ each week (he 
had up to about book 6). before i found Elfquest i liked to draw but suddenly 
i had an influence, i had something to go by and something to strive for. 
Wendy's art was the best, most beautiful drawing i had ever seen and i 
knew that's what i wanted to do. i had a purpose...and my original efforts 
weren't too bad...(see "first pic")...but they still weren't good enough for 
me...so for the past 8 years i have been striving to improve my art...losing 
sight of my original goal for about 7 of those years i ended up taking a 
recent life drawing class and finding elfquest again...the two clicked back 
into sync and now i have deemed my art worthy to show to other EQ fans... 
such as yourself... i have come along way in my art but i can still only hope
 to be able to bring these magnificent characters to life as wendy does... i 
hope you enjoy the site and soon i will have more pictures to share with 
you...
