Dreams Do Come True: Chapter 17

Amanda pulled up to Eric’s hotel in a cab. She stood in front of it for a while, before she finally decided to go in. She didn’t know what she was going to do yet. She walked right into the hotel, heading directly for Eric’s room. When she got in the elevator, her stomach began to get all twisted up.

“Great, I’m getting nervous, this isn’t good. Breath in... Breath out...” The elevator opend, and she walked right to his room. Before she could even think about what she was going to say, she had already knocked on the door. Amanda took a deep breath. Eric opend the door, and saw that she had been crying.

“Oh my God, what’s wrong, whay are you crying?” A look of concern came across his face.

“Eric,” she sniffed, “we need to talk.”

“Sure, come in.” He lead her in, and closed the door behind them.

Cassie and Howie were at the hotels gym/spa, and Cassie was out-running Howie on the track. She slowed down so he could catch up.

“I thought you were in shape? Can’t keep up?” Cassie said.

“Sure I can, butnnot right now...”

“Why don’t we take a break?” Cassie sugested. A sigh of relief came from Howie. They two of them got a bottle of water before they sat down. They sat down, and Howie took a hat from his bag, and put it on his head, covering his eyes.

“Howie if you don’t feel comfortable, we could go somewhere else.” Cassie said.

“No matter where I am, where I go, there is always a fan who finds me. It’s like my private life is free for the public to intrude on. It bugs me at times, but it’s all worth it in the end.” Cassie held Howie’s hands.

“Well, don’t worry, I’m here for you. It may not make much sence right now, but you’ll understand later.” Howie looked at her, and he held onto her hands.

“Thanks, I’m glad that I can feel comfortable to tell you everyting. I’m not usualy like this. It’s wierd...”

“Why don’t we go back up to the roo? Things aren’t as... Well, you know what I mean.” Cassie said. They got up and they headed back to the room. Luckyly, no fans ran into them...

“So everything is worked out between you and the girls?” Brian asked Nick and Kevin.

“Yeah, it’s all good.” Kevin replied.

“Maybe I should go and see Amanda now...”

“No!” Nick yelled. Brian gave him a wierd look. “Uh, I mean, Lisa told me that she’s still really shaken up over this. Lisa told me she’d call when Amanda is up to talking.” Nick prayed that Brian believed him.

“Ok, I’ll wait, but eventualy, I’m going o go over, if she’s ready or not. I have to talk to her.” Brian went to a bedroom, and layed down on the bed.

“Why can’t Brian go and see Amanda now?” Kevin whisperd to Nick.

“Because she isn’t there.”

“Where is she?”

“No one knows, she just ran off again.”

“Do you think she went to...”

“I sure hope not.”

“Me too. Amanda’s just hurt right now, she’s proboly not thinking strait...” Kevin lokked at Nick, then out the window at London. He hoped that nothing goes wrong. He didn’t want to see his cousin get hurt, or Amanda for that matter.

Christine and A.J. were walking hand in hand, through the streets of London. A.J. was confronted by fans on almost every street, each one of them asking who Christine was. He told them she was a “friend”. Christine didn’t mind. As they kept on walking, Christine noticed a guy following them.

“Is that one of your bodyguard, or is it some sicko...” Chritsine asked.

“It’s just a bodyguard. He’s always watching me, where ever I go. He always stays behind me.”

“So was he there the day you and I were at the park?”

“Yeah, but he knew tog ive us our space, the guys are the best. He knew that there was no one in the park, so he let us go.” Christine turned around and smiled at the bodyguard. He smiled back at her. She turned back around, and held onton A.J.’s arm.

“So where would you like to go?” A.J. asked her.

“Anywhere. It really doesn’t matter, as long as you’re with me.”

“Well then, why don’t I take you shopping. You don’t have to if you don’t want to.”

“No, I’d like that.” A.J. took Christine to a dress shop. Even though it was quiet small, it was one of the nicest stores she had seen. There were many dresses. Christine was in aw of all the beautiful dresses that were presented in front of her.

“Go on, try on which ever one you want.” A.J. insisted. So slowly, she looked around the store. She picked out a few of the dresses, and she tried the mall on. Her favorite was one with a leopard pattern on it. She came out of the room, with the dress on, and she looked at herself in the mirror. A.J. came up behind her.

“What do you think?” She asked as she looked at him in the mirror. He put his hands on her bare shoulders. He leaned his head, and placed his mouth next to her ear.

“You look beautiful.” When he whisperd these words, chils ran up and down her spine.

“If you like the dress, you can have it.” The smile on her face disapeared. She turned around to face him.

“A.J., I don’t need your money. I don’t need gifts from you, all I want is to be with you. That’s the best gift you could ever give me.”

“You know, you’re not like all the other girls. You’re diffrent, and I love ever minute I spend with you.” He kissed her cheek, and she went to take off the dress.
