7.62 x 51mm NATO (.308 Win)

The .308 is probably the most type of ammo. It's consistent and not punishing to shoot. While it may over penetrate, the .308 is used by a lot of law enforcement and military personnel. The 7.62AP will penetrate 15mm of armour at 300 meters. It will also penetrate 120mm plexiglass helicopter protection. It is good on brick and concrete walls and causes no barrel wear.

They function in most 7.62mm rifles and also 7.62 bolt action rifles, M240 Coax or Pedestal mounted configuration, the M134 Gatling Gun and the M60.
