My
Piercing Experience
This
is just a little story. For those of you who know me,
you
are aware that I was once pierced. Unfortunately the
ring
that hung in my left nipple was pulled upon rather hard,
thus
tearing my nipple to the extent that I had to remove it.
When
I had it done I went to Piercing Experience in Little
Five
Points in Atlanta. The actual piercing, the needle going
through
the nipple and the insertion of the hoop took all of about
1
second. Brian at Piercing Experience is a pro. He is extremely
quick
and knows full well what he is doing, thus minimalizing any
discomfort
or intense sensations. In a flash it was all done and
I
was experiencing an intense adrenaline rush. Since it was torn
out
I went back today, 10/30/97 and had it repierced. Because
the
original tear was so bad, there was a build up of scar tissue.
Scar
tissue is a bit harder to pierce. Instead of 1 second, this time
it
took about 4 or 5 seconds. He got the needle about 90% through
my
nipple and could not get through the scar tissue. Finally he got the
needle
through and there was a distinct poping sound. It was
extremely
intense. So here I sit once again with my left nipple
pierced
with a purple 10 guage hoop.
