25 lb. beef, cubed
10 whole bay leaves
18 lb. potatoes
2 cans whole tomatoes (10 lb.)
2 lb. onions
10 lb. carrots
salt and pepper to taste
several cloves of garlic, optional

Brown beef in flour. Add water, bay leaves, tomatoes and seasonings.
Cook
vegetables, then add potatoes. Two hours before serving, join
together, remove bay leaves before serving.
