Liemen is a Anuirean court wizard of the Birthright
Advanced Dungeons and Dragons campaign setting. He is a regent controlling
source (magic of the land and ley lines) and guilds in half a dozen provinces,
and though only a minor regent he serves his nation loyally. Putting the
nation before even the royal family, though the royal family and he have
not yet had any real reason to disagree. Liemen is himself really only
a 6th level mage with a minor bloodline (Vorynn, minor 28), but due to
his wealth he has a had plenty of funds for research, as well as a few
opportunities to do spell research.. when politics allowed. Thus he has
created a rather unique array of spells, leading some to call him the Mist
Mage.
