Curriculum Goals

      Goal No 1:  All students will be in school and ready to learn.

                          Goal No. 2:    All students will leave 8th grade having demonstrated

             competency in challenging subject matter including Language Arts,

             mathematics, science, history, geography, art, music, technology,

             and life skills.                                                                 

        Goal No 3:  All students will learn to use their minds, so they may be

          prepared for responsible citizenship and further learning.

       Goal No. 4:  LRMS will be free of drugs, violence, and the unauthorized

          presence of firearms and alcohol, and will offer a disciplined encironment

         conducive to learning.

                              Goal No. 5:  All professional staff will have access to programs for the

           continued improvement of their skills and the opportunity to acquire the

            knowledge and skills needed to instruct and prepare our students for

            the 21st century.

     Goal No. 6:  LRMS will promote partnerships that will increase parental       

           involvement and participation in promoting the social emotional, and

          academic growth of our students.

     Goal No. 7:  LRMS will establish educational links with community members

           to promote student awareness of educational, business, and professional

            opportunities.
