Esbats
The Goddess is celebrated by Wiccans during
Esbats. Esbats are rituals that are held primarily at the New and Full Moons. They can be held at other times of the month, as well. But it is the Full Moon Esbat that is most important for Wiccans.
Wiccans do not worship the Moon. It is a symbol of the Goddess. The Moon is also seen as a mystic source of energy. Wiccans draw energy from the Moon to empower themselves during rituals and in their everyday lives.
