Belonging to a younger generation of Croatian painters, artist Marina Ancic presented her works on ten one-man exhibitions. Not focused on painting solely, which always engages combined technique, she creates works of art made of papier-mache and designs carpets, cups, greeting cards with the same enthusiasm and imagination. Her works reveal an unexpected world of phantasmagoric, zoomorphic and vegetal forms, associative world abundant with life and vivid colors. Glorifying life and expressing optimism, these are the imperatives of Marina Ancic's paintings.
