Cox expressed an interest for show business at the age of four, Nikki has toured with the Los Angeles Music Center Ballet and the Joffrey Ballet. Cox appeared in Michael Jackson's" Moonwalker " , Paula Abdul's " Your Girl ", the MTV Awards, and " The Arsenio Hall Show. Cox began her television career at age 10, guest-starring on "Mama's Family." Other television credits include the role of Gina Cates on ABC's "General Hospital," as well as appearances on "Star Trek: The Next Generation," "Night Court," "Murphy Brown," "The Nanny," and "Boy Meets World," among others. Cox was also a series regular on "Someone Like Me."
In May of 1998, Cox was introduced in a guest-starring role as Drew Carey's cousin on "The Drew Carey Show." In 1996, sandwiched between her "Unhappily Ever After" duties, Cox appeared in several episodes of "Pearl" for CBS. She also appeared in the television film "Freshman Fall," starring Candace Cameron, and starred in the television movies "The Ryan White Story" and "The Island."
On the big screen, Cox was featured in the Steven Seagal/Keenen Ivory Wayans starrer "The Glimmer Man" and appeared in the box-office hit "Terminator 2." Most recently she had a part in "The Nutty Professor II - The Klumps".
She currently has a guest role on the ABC show "Norm", as a rehabilitated hooker. Nikki Cox has a new show at The WB for Fall of 2000, called "NIKKI".
Cox lives in Southern California.
