The Rovers, Maddogs and Cathy go to the house where Blitz and Joey are held up. The door is wide open and they find Blitz out cold on the floor with a nasty looking head wound.

Hunter: Is he all right?

Colleen: Won't know till I check him.

Outlaw: Allow me.

Outlaw puts his hands on Blitz and the wound heals. Blitz wakes up with a start.

Blitz: Cano-Mutant! He came up behind me!

Hunter: Cool it Blitz! What happened?

Blitz: I'd just put Joey in that room and was going to guard the house when I was hit from behind. I only saw hit for a split second and then nothing. My head doesn't hurt.

Outlaw: That's my doing.

Blitz: Danka Herr Outlaw. I'm in your debt.

Outlaw: No problem.

Beowulf walks out of the room.

Beowulf: Maggot's dead.

Cathy: Can you heal him as well?

Outlaw: Unfortunately no. I'd have to be dead as well. And that is something I do not want to do.

Beowulf: I also found this note.

"Dear Maddogs. You've probably heard of me by now. It seems we have some histoy. Beowulf, I was the one to take out your eye. You had it coming anyway. Outlaw, I was there when you changed. I know who you really are. But not to worry, I've kept that juicy little tidbit to myself for now. I was wounded by shrapnel when the Rovers fired on the ship. I'll get to them later, you however I want. I think you know where to find me. Rhino."

Outlaw looks to Hunter.

Outlaw: Well?

Hunter: Let's get going.

Cathy: What about me?

Exile: It is saferski for you to stay here Ms. Sanders.

Cathy: No! I'm tired of being victimized by these thugs. I'm going with you.

Hunter: Your in. Let's move.

Outside of town. They come to a cave set in rock. A couple dozen thugs are there at the entrance waiting. When they see the others coming they rush for them.

Hunter: Scatter and take 'em!

Colleen: Hi-ya! Charleton Heston! Henry Fonda! Jimmy Stewart!

Exile manages to freeze several in their tracks. Unnoticed, Outlaw slips inside. He comes into cavern where Rhino's back is facing him. Rhino whirls and points gun at him. Out of the shadows two thugs come out with guns drawn and one takes Outlaw's weapon. Rhino puts away his weapon.

Rhino: Hello Outlaw. At last we meet.

Outlaw: I see you were expecting me.

Rhino: I suppose you want to know why I've been doing this?

Outlaw: The thought crossed my mind.

Rhino: I knew your friend Greystone had a friend here. And I knew that after a while she'd write him and you would have to come along.

Outlaw: Very complex for a Cano-Mutant. I didn't think they had the brains.

Rhino marches up to him, fury in his eyes.

Rhino: I'd watch it if I were you!

Outlaw: OK. So what's in that container on the table?

Rhino: This? A little something I procured from GenPar Industries. I don't know what it's called but it has the power to turn humans into canines.

Outlaw: Powerful stuff.

Unknown to everyone but Outlaw, Tom has snuck into the cave and is up near a kind of balcony.

Rhino: It should be. General Parvo made it.

Tom suddenly slips and slides down an embankment and crashes into the table. The container hits him square in the face and shatters. The two thugs suddenly fall to the floor and there Hunter and Colleen stand.

Rhino: Oh. What a shame.

Tom writhes in agony. His skin starts to change color to a greyish silver. He has become a coyote Cano-Sapien. In this form he will now be called Silver.

Silver: Oh! W-what happened to me.

They suddenly notice that Rhino is missing.

Outlaw: You two take care of him. I'm going after Rhino.

He runs out the cave and see's Rhino getting on a motorcycle. Outlaw run for him, jumps and tackles him off the bike. They struggle on the ground for a bit then Rhino kicks him off takes out his gun and shoots Outlaw point-blank in the heart! A laser shot knocks Rhino off his feet. Another laser shot morphs him into a normal canine. Wesley comes up holding a different kind of pistol.

Hunter: What kind of pistol is that?

Wesley: A special invention of mine. A De-Mutator pistol.

Hunter: Cool. How is he Colleen?

She looks up shocked.

Colleen: He's dead!

Hunter: Not for long I hope. Hubert told us about this.

Silver: He's not really dead?

Hunter: No. Hubert found something in his makeup. He can heal wounds but being shot in the heart is something else. His body will have to shut down to heal. Let's get him to Mission Control.

Later Silver and Cathy are talking in Cathy's Place.

Cathy: So, how do you like the new you?

Silver: It's going to take some getting used to. You know, you can always come with me.

Cathy: The life of a bounty hunter. No thanks. Besides I belong here. The people here want to make me the next mayor.

Silver: That's great! Congratulations Your Honor.

Cathy: Take care of yourself Tom.

Silver: You too.

RR Mission Control sickbay. Outlaw is lying on a bed. Hubert somes in and starts writing on a clipboard. Outlaw's eye open suddenly and he starts breathing. Hubert is so startled that he drops his clipboard.

Hubert: Geez I wish you wouldn't do that!

Outlaw: Then it's true. I really am..

Hubert: Looks that way.

Outlaw: How long was I out?

Hubert: About several hours. The others are in the briefing room.

Briefing room. Hunter is finished giving his after mission report.

Master: Your good dogs Rovers. Good, good dogs.

Wesley: I beg your pardon?

Outlaw: So, anyone miss me?

They all turn and see Outlaw leaning against the doorway, arms and legs folded.

Silver: Boy are we glad your alive.

Outlaw: So am I. How you handling the new body.

Silver: One moment at a time.

Master: Have you picked out a name for yourself?

Silver: How does Silver sound.

Outlaw: It suits you.

Master: OK. I want you all to take some R&R for the next couple days. Especially you Silver. Let Hubert have a look at you.

Silver: Yes Master.

Master: Dismissed.

In the corridor outside.

Outlaw: I was like you the first couple of days after. If you need anything you know where to find me.

Silver: You got it.
