A dirt road somewhere. A man on a horse goes by at full speed. Two more horse riders run after him. Don "Oddball" Harris and Outlaw are side by side.

"Forget it Outlaw!" says Oddball "Jeff Randall is mine! I've been tracking him for weeks now."

"Sorry to disapoint you Harris! Hyah!"

Outlaw's horse begins to run a little faster. He takes out a rops and begins to swing it. He catches Jeff Randall and he fall hard off his horse. Oddball looks in astonishment behind him and then looks forward to see he's headed strait for a lake. He tries to stop his horse in time but he flies off and over the horse's head and right into the lake. He starts splashing around.

"Help! Outlaw! I can't swim!"

"Stand up stupid!"

"Huh?"

Oddball stops splashing and finds that he's in shallow water. A sign nearby read "Welcome to Leafgrove".

"What happened to Leafgrove?! Who put a lake here?!"

"Army Corps of Engineers. They built a dam several miles upstream. It was in the news last year didn't you hear? All right up you!"

"Oh no you don't Outlaw! Jeff Randall is mine!"

"What do you want from me?" says Randall

"Your under arrest for stealing government money plates." says Outlaw

"I-I don't know what your talking about!"

"Oh. A thief and a liar to boot."

"No listen! Honest fella's you got the wrong man! I swear!"

One month later. The town of Greenville Sherrif's office. The Maddogs are inside the office of Sheriff Steven Thomas.

"Well It's been almost a month, but were positive that the man we have in custody is the Jeff Randall were looking for." says Thomas "Excuse me gentlemen, ma'am."

Steven walks out.

"There's something I need to tell you guys." says Wesley "Randall has hired himself a topnotch lawyer. She's due here any minute."

"A woman lawyer?" says Beowulf

"Worse. She's my sister. Caroline."

"Really?" says Outlaw

The door opens and in steps a rather striking woman with dark black hair.

"Wesley!"

"Caroline!"

They hug each other.

"Oh it's so good to see you big bro. It's been a long time."

"Yeah it has. Uh guys I'd like you to meet my sister, Caroline Hawk. Caroline this is Outlaw, Silver, Beowulf and Saphire."

"A pleasure ma'am." says Silver

"Your brother has become a valuble assest to our team." says Outlaw

"I'm sure he has. So, your the Outlaw I've heard so much about. My client is innocent Mr. Outlaw. Jeff Randall is nothing but a good working man from Leafgrove.

"Why hasn't anyone come out to speak on his behalf?" says Saphire

"Because Leafgrove no longer exists." says Outlaw "But if he's innocent then where are those money plates he stole?"

"I suggest you go out and find him yourself Mr. Outlaw. That is what you do isn't it?"

"It is. If you'll excuse me."

Outlaw walks out of the room. Saphire follows him.

"Outlaw, your not worried that she's right are you?" says Saphire

"I don't know Angel. I really don't. I've never been unsure about someone I've caught before."

"Don't worry. I have faith in you. You'll always be numer one in my book."

"That's why I love you Saphire."

They embrace in a passionate kiss. When they brake apart Outlaw heads for the cellblock. In one of the cell's, Jeff Randall sits glumly on the bench.

"Hello Mr. Randall."

"I've told you I'm not the one who did it!"

"Your talking to a Cano-Sapien Mr. Randall. I got a whiff of you at the scene of the crime. What were you going to do with those money plates? Scuttlebutt has it that General Parvo is short of cash."

"What must I do to convince you that I'm not the one your looking for?!"

"Mr. Outlaw!" says Caroline "I suggest you get out and stop badgering my client. I have paid his bail and he's free to go."

"What? Caroline---"

"Ms. Hawk to you Mr. Outlaw. Leave."

Outlaw leaves the cellblock, while Caroline gets Jeff out. Outside, Jeff and Caroline get into her car and drive away. From a window Outlaw looks on.

"That listening device working?"

"Loud and clear." says Beowulf

"Should we be doing this? I'm spying on my own sister." says Wesley

"We should be able to prove once and for all that this is the Jeff Randall we want."

Outside of town. Jeff finds a gun in the glove box.

"Do you always keep this around?"

"I'm a lawyer. It's tough in the big city."

Jeff picks up the gun and points it at Caroline.

"Stop the car."

"Jeff what are you...?"

"Now!"

Caroline pulls the car over.

"Get out."

They both get out, Jeff suddenly pushes Caroline into a mud puddle.

"Hey!"

"That's right darlin'. The one and only. I'll be along to meet my partner and recover the plates. By the way, your fired."

Jeff drives the car as Caroline stands there furious. Back in Greenville, Outlaw get on Harley and gets ready to go.

"You sure you don't need our help?" says Silver

"Don't worry about me."

"Bring her back safely Outlaw, she's not immortal like us." says Wesley

"Don't worry Wesley, I'll get her back to you."

"Do you know where he's headed?" says Beowulf

"Hart Canyon."

"Oddball" Harris suddenly drives up next to him.

"Gee, thanks Outlaw. I couldn't have done it without you!"

Oddball guns his engine and drives off.

"Actually there's not much in Hart Canyon except a few bee hives. He's going to Forge Canyon. See ya."

"Ha ha! Oh, he's good!" says Silver

Outside of town. Caroline walks glumly back towards town. She looks up when she hears a bike and notices that it's Outlaw.

"Well, well, well. Fancy meeting you here Ms. Hawk."

"Don't! I don't want to hear you say 'I Told You So' or anything like it."

"Never dreamed of it."

"He want that way. If we hurry we might catch him."

"We?"

"You can't leave me here."

"Hmm. Watch me."

"M-Mr Outlaw wait! You can't do this! Come back here!"

Outlaw drives away and out of site.

"Please?!"

She turns when she hears another bike and Outlaw comes and scoops her up into the back seat.

"Since you asked nicely."

"Oh! I'm so sorry Mr. Outlaw for not believing you."

"You can drop the Mister. It's just Outlaw."

"Where are we going?"

"Forge Canyon. He's meeting General Parvo there."

"Parvo? Oh my!"

"You ain't kiddin lady. Hold on."

Forge Canyon. Outlaw and Caroline are hiding behind some bushes. Caroline's car is parked by a cave opening.

"Wait here. I'm going inside." says Outlaw

Outlaw sneaks inside the cave and draws his laser pistol. Inside he finds Jeff digging with a shovel.

"All right nice and easy Randall. Put your hands up."

Jeff turns about slowly. The business end of a laser blaster appears and points at Outlaw's head.

"Not a bad idea." says Parvo

Outside the cave, Outlaw and Caroline are tied up to a tree.

"How could you let Parvo get the drop on you?!"

"It happens."

"We'll be leaving now." says Parvo "We gotta make some money. I swear your more annoying than the Rovers and Grizzlies combined."

"We'll always haunt you Parvo."

"Come on Mr Randall, let's get out of here."

Parvo, and Jeff leave. Outlaw tries his best to get free. After several minutes of trying Oddball Harris shows up. His face is slightly swollen with bee stings.

"Well, well." says Harris

"Oh hi Oddball." says Outlaw "Uh, can you set us free?"

"There was bee's in Hart Canyon."

"Were there?"

"Mad bees! Since you want Randall so bad you can have him. I gotta buzzzzz!"

"Wait. Aren't you going to free us?" says Caroline

"Why should I?"

"Let him go." says Outlaw "A lot of these bounty hunter are nothing but back-stabbing, egocentric loners."

"Except you?" says Caroline

"Heck yeah. I work for the Road Rovers or have you forgotten?"

"No no. I haven't. What about those teeth of yours? Can you chew through the ropes? That's what you dogs do isn't it, chew through everything?"

"No I don't. But your right."

Outlaw starts to bite through the ropes and after a while breaks free.

"Great! Were back in business. Where do we go now? They could be anywhere."

"Lake Leafgrove."

Lake Leafgrove. Parvo, Groomer and Jeff are on a barge in the middle of the lake. Jeff has a diving suit on.

"Look at this thing!" says Randall "Does this thing actually work?

"Yes it works. Quit whining and retrieve the money bars. Groomer, start the air tanks." says Parvo

"Aye sir."

Jeff jumps off the barge and dives down. On the bank, Outlaw and Caroline watch.

"He must really be desperate. That diving suit is outdated." says Outlaw

"Your not going to go after him?"

"Sure. With these."

Outlaw shows her some clear pills.

"Water pills. Professor Hubert designed them. With these, you can breath underwater."

"Impresive."

"I just love working for the Road Rovers."

Outlaw swollows the pills and dives in. Outlaw immediatly notices the breathing lines that head inside what used to be a bank and goes in. Jeff is currently pulling up the floor with a pic ax. Jeff picks up a box and opens it. The stolen money plates are there. Outlaw makes his move and grabes them. Jeff turns around and swings the picax into Outlaw's arm. He grabs it away and smashes the glass in Jeff's diving suit. Water pours in. Outlaw stuffs the plates into his pockets, throws away the picax and tugs on the breathing lines. On the barge Parvo and Groomer notice the tugs and start to pull the crank up, but the lines snap.

"Oh, what a shame." says Groomer

Outlaw staggers onto the shore and breaths heavily.

"Did I forget to mention that they only last for a few minutes? Did they get him up? I smashed the glass on his diving suit."

"No."

"Nuts! Come on, lets get out of here before Parvo spots us."

Greenville Sherrif's office.

"Nice work Mr. Outlaw. I'm sure the depository will be pleased to get these back. And Caroline, I've decided not to press charges for letting Jeff Randall loose."

"Thank you Sheriff. Your right, I should have known better."

"I'm just glad your all right." says Wesley "So what's next for you?"

"Well, assuming my reputation isn't shattered, I'll be going on to the next case. And Outlaw, thanks."

"No problem Ms Hawk. Always glad to help."
