The Maddogs drive down a mountain highway. Outlaw is talking to Colleen.

"So what's that matter at this mine?"

"Several miners have disappeared and they think it's foul play. We sent a rookie Strayer unit in three days ago. They haven't been heard from since."

"We'll check it out."

Rocky Mountain Mining Co. Miner Boss Tony Corbin and several miners are talking to the Maddogs.

"I keep saying there is nothing wrong."

"And we say there is!" says a miner "Half a dozen guys have vanished in there and that's not including that Strayer unit."

"You've picked the right group for the job." says Outlaw

"The sooner you can reashure my men the sooner we can get back to work." says Tony "This is costing my company millions."

"How'd they disappear?" says Silver

"One by one, all of them alone." says the mine boss "You'll need some kind of light down there, the electricity is off."

"These nightvision goggels should prove useful then." says Wesley

"OK. Everyone stay here, were going down there." says Outlaw

After several minutes of the elevater ride they reach the bottom.

"Lasers out, and stay together. Let's go."

They walk for several minutes and then a claw comes out of a wall of rocks and grabs Wesley!

"Hey! Help!"

"Wesley!"

They dive after him and find themsleves sliding down an embankment and then land in a heap at the bottom. They look up to see Wesley fighting a 6 foot tall monstosity. Outlaw shoots at it and it staggers, drops Wesley and Beowulf vaporizes it.

"You all right?" says Outlaw

"Fine. God I hate bugs!"

"Hey, look over here!" says Beowulf

They find clothing from the missing miners and clothing with the Strayer symbol on it.

"Come on. I have the feeling there are more of them." says Outlaw

They walk for several more minutes.

"Do you smell that?" says Beowulf "Oh man that stinks!"

"What is that smell?" says Saphire

They suddenly come across a lake with dicarded barrels and several of the monsters in several sizes.

"What does your scanner say?" says Outlaw

"Toxic Waste!" says Wesley "Corbin! He must be illegally dumping here and it created these monsters."

"Is there a way out?" says Silver

"Yes. On the other side of the lake there's another tunnel that leads to another elevator. The bugs haven't been near it."

"Come on. We can go around and hope we don't attract their attention." says Outlaw

They successfull get around the lake but when they reach the tunnel one of the monsters screaches and heads for them. Outlaw fires and the creature explodes into green goo.

"Eww gross!" moans Saphire

The other creatures look up and and advance toward them.

"Head for the elevator." says Outlaw "I'll hold them off."

"Outlaw---"

"Just go!"

The others run off. Outlaw points his pistol at the lake and fires. The explosion sends him flying backwards several yards. He picks himself up and runs. At the elevator, the others have boarded and it starts to go up.

"Come on Outlaw!" says Silver

Outlaw jumps and grabs the bottom. Out of nowhere one of the creatures jumps and grabs Outlaw by the legs.

"Get him off me!"

Beowulf neals over and fires, it explodes into green goo.

"Oh man these things are disgusting!" says Beowulf

The others help Outlaw into the elevator as more explosions rattle the caverns. At the top, they are greeted by the miners.

"What was that explosion?"

"I detonated a lake of Toxic Waste. Someone was illegally dumping. We also found the clothing of the missing."

The Maddogs glare in Tony's direction.

"I..uh...I mean..."

Beowulf stalks up to him, grabs him by the collar and lifts him up.

"Talk!"

"All right it was me! I'm sorry."

"You'll be sorry all right, when we send you to jail."

Later....

"...and unfortunatley the Strayer unit was among those lost." says Outlaw

"Bummer. Well, they knew the risks. Good job on this Outlaw. I imagine the mine will be closed down now."

"Good riddance to bad rubbish."
