"I've called the three of you together because I have a special job for you. Cactus Flats, Nevada. The town's supply trucks are being stopped and robbed. The town is on the verge of collapse. Plus Mike McCoy and Daniel Harris have been spottedin on it."

"Our first bounties." says Silver "I thought they were in prison."

"Past tense." says Master "They got out about six months ago. You must put a stop to this gang since you know who some of them are. Good luck."

Cactus Flats sheriff's office, Sherrif Joe Barrett.

"I'm glad your here, we've asked for assistance several times but not even the FBI would come out here."

"What can you tell us about the gang?" says Outlaw

"Very little. They attack the supply trucks coming here. The driver's never get a good look at them."

"Not to worry, we'll catch them for you."

Outside of town they're at the last truck robbery. Silver is studying the ground around the road.

"Hmm, about a dozen motorcycles heading towards those hills."

"Naturally, where else? Let's go."

After walking some ways Silver goes to a large rock.

"Help me lift this thing."

"Lift it? It's gotta be really heavy!"

Silver lifts it up quite easily.

"Heavy huh? This thing is cardboard designed to look like a rock. Well, well, what do we have here?"

He lifts it over and reveals about a dozen bikes.

"Were on the right track."

A little ways off, a hose is spraying gas in their direction.

"Say, do you smell something?" says Outlaw

Several more hoses start to spray gas as well.

"Knock out gas! Let's get, uhh!"

They start coughing and then collapse. Several figures come out wearing gas maskes. Inside a cave the gang is gathered around. The gang leader. Ari Logan, comes in from an ajacent area.

"Big Ed, what news have you got on the Cano-Sapien front?" says Ari

"Well, it depends sir. Boys, bring 'em in."

"Mike McCoy and Daniel Harris drag the unconcious Rovers in. Outlaw and Silver wake up.

"Oh. McCoy, Harris, what a pleasent surprise." says Outlaw

"Pleasure's all yours I'm sure." says Harris

"Let me at him Mr. Logan, I'll show em!" says Mccoy

"At what? You were the one to be stupid enough to get caught McCoy. Allow me to introduce myself. Ari Logan, gangleader. And by the way, I'm not the type to spill his plans to every hero who happens by. To The Pit with them."

Later, the three have been tied up together. A nearby sign read "Danger! Quicksand!"

"Ah quicksand, nature's irony." says Ari "Imagine drowning in the middle of the desert!"

The baddies with him chuckle at that.

"Now then, Mr McCoy, pick up that heavy wieght."

"Sure."

"Now empty your pockets."

"Huh?"

"Help the man, gentlemen."

They dig through his pockets and find money and jewels.

"I have no idea how they got there."

"What, you think I'm stupid?"

Ari pushes him into the quicksand and with the heavy weight sinks fast.

"Gentlemen, when you see Mr. McCoy, tell him he can let go of the the weight."

Ari pushes them into the quicksand and they sink halfway.

"Let's go."

Ari and the other baddies leave.

"If you've got a plan, I'm all ears!" says Silver

"Don't you usually keep a knife in your boot?" says Outlaw

"Yes, in my left one."

"Got it. Now I'm going to cut the rope."

"Make sure that's all you cut!"

"Ha! Were free! Tie this together and get it around that cactus!"

Silver tries several times and finally gets it and they get to safety.

"That was close!" says Silver

They turn to see a band of Ari's thugs level their weapons at them.

"Oh no, not again."

Inside the cave Outlaw is tied up to a post, Silver is being held by Ari's thugs.

"I can see why General Parvo has an inbred hatred for the Rovers. They never die! And that's double for you two!

"Better believe it." says Outlaw

"Time to see if the rumors about you are true. Big Ed, show us."

Big Ed begins to whip Outlaw. Silver smashes his foot on the instep of one gangmember and then takes out a tennis ball gas bomb and let's it go. In the smoke laser fire is heard and when the smoke clears only Outlaw and Silver are left standing.

"Aw, now more?" says Outlaw

"Where's Ari."

Outlaw and Duke look around and run out of the cave and see Ari starting a motorcycle up and drives off. Outlaw gets on another one and goes after him. He catches up with him and jumps onto Ari and makes him fall off his bike. Ari begins to run for it.

"Ari stop!"

Ari falls right into the quicksand.

"Ahh! Curse you mutt!"

"Give me your hand!"

Ari grabs Outlaw's hand and begins to pull him in as well.

"Ari I'm trying to save you!"

"And give you the satisfaction of seeing me rot in jail? Not a chance!"

Silver comes up and grabs Outlaw's feet. But Ari looses his grip and sinks.

"I don't believe this."

Several hours later in Cactus Flats. Everyone is digging through the much needed supplies. Sheriff Joe Barrett walks up to them.

"You saved the town. Were very grateful."

"No problem." says Outlaw "Glad to be of service."
