Bowser's office. Winston come on the wall screen.

"Excuse me captain, but I've got the Road Rovers coming in on the Sky Rover. They request that the senior staff prepare for them."

"Thank you Winston."

Conference room. The Road Rovers are here; also present is Bowser, Emerald, Bandage, Rusty, Mauser, Winston, Bengal, Santiago, Chucky, Firebird, Turbulence, Slide, Jocky, Tex McCoy, Denali and Nick.

"First off" says Hunter "I want to congratulate you on busting that slave operation. McCoy, your squad overheard something about a human-canomutator?"

"That's right. What exactly is it?"

"A canomutator that turns humans into Cano Mutants." says Colleen.

"That's not possible!" says Bengal

"Neither were you lad, before Parvo tried." says Colleen

"We've got two problems right now." says Hunter "Cano Mutants have been spotted in Taiwan, but Parvo is in Japan. Nick, Denali, your taking Blitz and Exile with you to check that out. Myself, Colleen and Shag will stay on the Retriever.

"Ugh, an entire shipload of cats!" mutters Blitz "Do I have to step foot on that ship?"

Nick growls.

"Watch it toosh biter." warns Nick

Blitz growls back.

"Make me, feline!"

"Blitz!" warns Exile

Blitz stops growling and sulks in a corner.

"Now then" says Hunter "I want all department heads ready with in the hour to get underway. We're going after Parvo, then we'll see how a carrier operates."

"You won't be disapointed sir." says Bowser "The Retriever is the best carrier on the high seas."

"Hoo-rah!" says Tex

"Cool. Let's do it ladies and gentledogs." says Hunter

"Dismissed!" says Bowser.

"Oh Bengal, a moment." says Colleen.

Everyone but Bowser, Bengal, Colleen and Hunter stay.

"How are you adjusting to life at sea?" says Colleen

Bengal shrugs.

"No complaints ma'am." says Bengal "Though when I go on shore leave I get frightened looks from humans."

"That's to be expected." says Hunter

"I ask because Bear has been wondering about you. He keeps tabs on your career whenever possible."

Bengal smiles.

"I'm honored. Tell him not to worry about me and that I'm doing well."

"Very good. Dismissed."

Hangar deck. Hunter and Colleen are here inspecting operations. Rika comes up to them, rubbing her paws on a dirty rag.

"Welcome aboard. I'm Rika, head mechanic and ordinance chief."

"Thank you." says Hunter "Is McCoy around?"

"Over there sir." points Rika.

"Thanks."

They go over and see McCoy drilling his squad. McCoy notices.

"Squad, atten-hut!"

"At ease." says Hunter "Lieutenant, I need some of your best for an infiltration mission into Parvo's hideout."

"How many sir?"

"Three should do."

"Sergeant T-Bone, Private Vince, front and center!"

"Reporting as ordered sir!" they both intone.

"Your volunteers sir, myself included." says Tex.

"Very good. Let's talk in the Sky Rover."

"Squad, dismissed!"

Hidden base, somewhere in Japan. Parvo enters the main control room, Grommer, Fluffy and Dalmat are already here.

"Are all the pieces in place?" says Parvo

"Waiting for your order sir." says Groomer.

"Good. They will be here within the hour, and then...."

"Parvo rules, a-ok!" says Fluffy.

They all burst into laughter until Parvo goes into a coughing fit.

"Lozenge!"

Retriever bridge. Bowser, Emerald and Colleen watch the ships only cloak fighter take off and then disappear.

"It never ceases to amaze me what new technology the Road Rover Mission Control can come up with." says Emerald.

"Great stuff." says Colleen "Now then, Captain, ready your planes."

"Yes ma'am. Winston?"

Winston nods and flips a switch. Alarms go off.

"General quarters! General quarters! All pilots man your planes! I repeat, all pilots man your planes."

The flight deck crew busy themselves with getting the jets ready to launch.

"Doghouse, this is Mutt Leader." says Maverick "I'm ready to launch."

"Copy that Mutt Leader." replies Taiko "Your clear to launch!"

"I got bogey's incoming!" says Bengal "Coming from southern Kyushu!"

"He know were coming." says Colleen.

Emerald looks over Bengal's shoulder at the screen.

"How long until they get here?" says Bowser.

"Just long enough for us to launch our fighters." says Emerald.

"Doghouse, this is Red Dog Five, ready to launch."

"Good luck Butch." says Taiko "Your clear to launch."

"That's your son, isn't it captain?" says Colleen.

"That's right."

"New bogey's!" says Bengal "I've got personal underwater subs headed our way from the same direction."

"Blimey, Parvo's splurging today." says Colleen.

"Launch the mini-sub!" says Bowser.

Parvo's base. Tex, T-Bone, Vince and Hunter are here, cloak belts on sneaking down a corridor; Fluffy and Dalmat guard the door to the control room. They sneak towards their position but are stopped when electrical volts shoot through their belts. They become visible and shout in pain as the bolts course through them.

"No! This is impossible!" shouts Vince.

"Nothing's impossible with the right technology." sneers Fluffy.

With enormous strength, Vince tries to get up while still being electrocuted.

"No! I won't let you win! You hear me?! I...won't...let...you...win!! Aaaauuugghhh!!!!"

Vince collapses to the deck with the others. Fluffy and Dalmat laugh and begin to haul them in.
