Pilot's briefing room. Akira's squadron, along with Slide and Pandora are being lectured on their mission from Sidewinder. Bowser is off to the side.

"Now remember, when Slide torpedoes the first ship, that will be your cue to go in missiles blazing. Before that, be sure to keep yourselves on stealth mode and maintain strict radio silence. Captain?"

Sidewinder steps aside and Bowser takes her place.

"You all know what is at stake. The entire city of San Diego is depending on you to prevent its destruction. Not nly that, but my job as academy commandant is an appointment I intend to keep."

Everyone chuckles.

"Slide, Pandora, get to the minisub. Pilots, dog your planes. Dismissed!"

They all file out of the room while Butch lingers behind. Bowser gives him a thumbs up and Butch returns it and exits. Later, on the bridge, Bowser is overseeing the operation.

"The minisub is coming underneath one of the warships." reports Bengal

"Open a channel to Khan." says Bowser

"Your on." says Winston.

"Commodore Khan, this is Captain Bowser speaking. We do not give in to terrorists. Therefore I refuse your offer of surrender."

"Your a fool, Bowser! We will destroy San Diego and everyone in it."

"I think not. Slide, open fire!"

The minisub launches all its torpedo batteries and one cruiser is hit and begins to sink.

"Tally-ho!! shouts Akira

Akira's squadron swoops in and begins to destroy the KH military vessels one by one.

"Two missiles taking off from the flagship, captain!" shouts Bengal "One headed for San Diego, the other one at us!"

"Akira!"

"We're on it!"

"Hotshot, let 'er rip!"

Both missiles are destroyed within seconds of each other.

"The flagship is making a run for it, sir."

"Where?"

"At us!"

"Patton, defense screens on! Ready the bow turret."

"Incoming message from Khan, sir." says Winston

"Blast you Bowser! If we must go, we're taking you with us!"

"They're making a direct run at us!" says Bengal

The ship shakes from hits from the flagships main gun, but the defensive screen holds.

"This is gonna get ugly." says Emerald.

"Bow turret, fire!"

"We got 'em!" whoops Patton "They're bridge is destroyed."

"Still coming for us at top speed!" says Bengal

"Brace for impact!" says Bowser

The Retriever slams into the battlecruiser, her screens holding still as the ship breaks into several pieces and sinks. The crew cheers their victory.

"As you were. Stand down from battle stations. Begin recovery of all aircraft and support vessels. Then lets take 'er home."

Later in San Diego harbor, the entire senior staff is gathered at the ramp to shore. Bowser walks up, in dress uniform.

"Attention on deck!" says Emerald.

They come to attention and salute, one by one as Bowser passes. Emerald and Bowser exchange another salute and then shake hands.

"I relieve you sir." says Emerald

"I stand relieved." says Bowser "Take care of her."

"Count on it sir."

Bowser, Rusty, Bandage and Winston step off with him as a new captain takes command of the U.S.S. Retriever.
