Hidden command bunker, Tanawei Islands. Omar and Nigel are watching what's happening on the islands on monitors.

"Those fools from the KH Military won't stop me." says Omar "They'll send most of their crew ashore to capture me, but they won't."

"Most of our air force has been wiped out sir." says Nigel "Only a couple of choppers left to harass those ships, and our last Lear jet just blew up."

"Have the modified yachts move out of Zephyr Island's harbor and attack. Is the commando team on board my jet?"

"Yes sir."

Omar stands up out of his chair and faces Nigel.

"Sink one of the KH cruisers and then set the self-destruct Mr. Ozawa."

"Yes sir."

"Splash three!" shouts Maverick.

"That's all of them." says Sidewinder

"Mutt Leader to Doghouse, were heading in."

"Roger that." says Winston

On the lower decks of the Retriever the transdogmafier shuts down and Tex staggers out.

"I was right, that hurt."

Tex collapses to the deck.

"Bandage, get down here quick, medical emergency."

*On my way sir.*

"T-Bone, get these two to the brig."

"Yes sir."

Bandage walks in with two stretcher bearers.

"I don't recognize him."

"That's Lieutenant McCoy doctor. Get him to sick bay for now."

"Yes sir."

"I'll be on the bridge."

"Report!" says Bowser as he walks into the bridge.

"We were hit by four torpedoes from the submarine, no major damage reported." Says Emerald "All the enemy aircraft have been neutralized; the Reugger and the Aggressive are currently taking on a small fleet of modified yacht's that came from Zephyr Island and the Bloody Fang is landing most of it's troops to secure Sentinel. The Mills is acting as her back up."

"Do we lose anybody?"

"No sir. All our planes have returned and sick bay reports only bumps and bruises from the torpedo attack."

"I got two more torpedoes incoming!" says Bengal

"At us?"

"No sir. They're headed for the Bloody Fang."

"Winston, contact them---"

A torpedo strikes the side of the KH cruiser, sending a guyser of water into the air. A second torpedo strikes the ship and an internal explosion rocks the ship splitting her in two. Smoke and fire belch from her as she heels over and sinks.

"Survivors?" says Bowser, as most of the bridge crew looks out with binoculars.

"None." says Emerald.

"New contact!" says Bengal "I have a lear jet coming out of Banumar Island. It's heading away from us, going north."

"Emerald, takes some boats and pick up the troops that landed---"

Another explosion rocks them, this time from Sentinel island. More explosions occur, taking out most of the island.

"Mauser, get us out of here!"

As the task force heads away, whats left of Sentinel smokes like a volcano.

"Sir, I've got Captain Kaiser on the line." says Winston

"Put him on."

*Captain Bowser, any survivors from the Bloody Fang?*

"None, I'm afriad."

Growling can be heard over the line.

*Omar has just made this personal! We shall avenge them!*

"As you wish, but we must see to battle damage first. Did you recieve any?"

*Affirmative, we took some minor hits when we went after the yachts."

"We must all see to our battle damage first."

*Very well captain. I shall contact you when we are ready. Kaiser out.*

"Bengal, is that submarine still in the area?"

"No sir. Must have left when Omar bugged out."

"Emerald, see to our battle damage, I'll be down in sickbay."

"Aye sir." says Emerald as Bowser walks out "Get me the damage control officer."

Sick bay, Bowser walks in and up to Bandage.

"How is he?"

"Aside from having his body forcibly transformed? I'd say he's doing fine."

"Is he awake?"

"Yes. Just follow the dark cloud."

Bowser walks into sick bay proper and finds Tex in a cot leaning up on his pillow, an unreadable look on his face. He spots Bowser and starts to get up.

"At ease Mr. McCoy. How do you feel?"

"Like a dog sir."

Bowser chuckles.

"Have you identified what breed you are?"

"Yes sir. I'm a Dixie Dingo."

"Sorry?"

"The more common name is Carolina Dog. They're found in the boondocks of Georgia and South Carolina. Heck, I grew up around 'em everyday."

"Carolina Dog" Bowser muses "Their a kind of pariah aren't they?"

"Why do you think they were called Dixie Dingoes? Because they look alike." Tex sighs "The Marine Corps never prepared me for this."

"Trust me, you not the first person to get changed."

"Ah yes, another person to join the ranks of man to dog. How many does this make, several dozen?"

"I wouldn't know, but I'm told your fit for duty."

"I need time sir. Time to put this into perspective. Have Corporal T-Bone take my place for a few days, I need to figure....how to use all these new senses; what the h*** is that stench?!"

"Your in sickbay remember?"

"I know but really. How do you true born canines do it?"

"We learn by doing Mr McCoy. Very well then, I'll let you have a couple days off, but if we run into Omar, or his forces before then..."

"You can count on me to do my duty captain."

"That means a lot to me Lieutenant. Carry on."

"Yes sir.
