Madhuri dixit on Engineer:I have taken my first step into regional cinema with a Tamil
film; Engineer. It'll be dubbed in Telugu and Hindi too. It's an interesting subject.
The girl's very real, very alive. Kind of close to Ketki of Mrityudand. Actually, not
really. Let's not talk too much of the film. I wouldn't want to divulge too many
details. All I can say is that it brings out the very feminine side of me. This
character is very womanly and at the same time a very strong woman. A lethal
combination, wouldn't you say?
AAP MERE SANAM HAI stars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman along with Atul and Suman ranganathan of Fareb fame.
This will be a sure Fire-hit..I can say that from the casting.
In this she plays the role of a house wife(probably Shah rukh khan's wife wife)
whose fidelity is doubted.Salman Khan plays a guest role in the film.Shah rukh Khan is said to have only 13 scenes in this movie.
He said he's doing it just for Madhuri's sake since he feels that she is now in a position where she deserves one full movie for herself..

The storyline is as follows..
AMHS is about a couple SRK & Madhuri and how they allow misunderstandings to almost destroy
their marriage. SRK is a rich and some what arrogant businessman who looks down upon Madhuri's
brother Atul Agnihotri for his laziness. Salman is Madhuri's childhood best friend and when he
shows up SRK is jealous of their close friendship & suspects Madhuri & Salman. His reaction
causes chain reactions of problems and Madhuri starts believing the worst of her husband too. Their
misunderstanding almost lead to a divorce but in the end the misunderstandings are cleared out by
Salman. This movie is a remake of a South indian movie and Madhuri's role was played by Revathi
Madhuri says,"It's a very experimental film made for the international market. An ordinary
woman's journey through history, mythology and literature seen through the eyes
of a painter. I get to play so many extraordinary women of our country. It's
fascinating.

Speculations were rife with everybody
wondering as to why the daling of the
masses, Madhuri Dixit had thrown a
surprise party on the
30th of April.
Everybody who's
anybody in
Bollywood were at
the shindig. The Big
B, Shah Rukh,
Aishwarya, Shabana
and Rekha were
among the filmi
luminaries who
shone at the party. The poolside at the
Holiday Inn in Mumbai glittered all night.
The fact that this was the first party she
was throwing in all the years she has been
around only heightened the surprise
element. Right till the end, the guests
seemes hardpressed to believe her
explanation that she just wanted to
celebrate the awards that she had won
recently, well, whatever the reason the
party sure was a huge success.
