Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD...

Psalms 150:6

I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ (Check out our web page here!). We follow what the Bible says...the salvation plan laid out by Jesus Christ. We welcome everyone into the church.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

That happens to be one of my favorite verses. Some other verses I find intriguing:

My name is Andrea and I'm a Sophomore in college this fall. For my freshman year I attended Purdue University, but I have transferred to IUSB for my remaining years. Not that there's anything wrong with Purdue; it's great. I just feel a calling to stay home. I built this page, along with my church's website, during this past year. I learned HTML in my English class at Purdue and I have had a lot of fun building other pages.

My favorite part of being away at college was just that...being away. Though I did go home quite frequently (at least every other weekend), I had so much fun with my new family. I had fun the best way possible, hanging out with good friends and going to church. No parties for me. I don't need, nor want, to drink to have a good time. To me, attending a good church service is the best fun possible.  I found a great church to attend while away from home; Apostolic Tabernacle. It's a small church, but a very close-nit one...and I happen to love it there.

Now, on to the good stuff...

I used to think that I could never be a true Christian. I mean, yeah I believed in Jesus and I knew I had to be a good person and all, but I always thought that I couldn't give up so much of my life and devout it to Him. I wanted to...I just didn't think I had the ability to, and at the time I didn't care to either. But then Jesus Christ showed me that I could. I started going to my church about 2 years ago. Soon afterwards I was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. 5 months later I received the Holy Ghost. I have been steadily growing ever since. So it's almost been a year since I've accepted Christ into my heart. There are still days when I have doubts/questions, but that doesn't mean I'm a bad person. He still loves me and will never leave me. I never knew how much my life would be so much better with Him in it.

If you feel like the Lord is calling you...don't hesitate to get down on your knees and find out. If you feel like crying anytime you hear or think about church, then maybe you need to go and take a trip up to the old-fashioned altar. You can tell Him you're sorry (and truly mean it) and He will forgive you. You can wash your sins away, and He will forget them. You can accept His Spirit into your life, and He will speak through you.
