What Is Creative Paperclay®?

Creative Paperclay® is a unique new air hardening modeling material that requires no firing in a kiln or baking in an oven. It's certified AP non-toxic and contains all natural ingredients including a specially processed volcanic ash and pulp. The combination of ingredients results in finished art pieces that are remarkably strong and lightweight.

It comes out of the package ready to use in a rectangular block. Not like an instant paper mache or plaster that you have mix with water to make a messy paste. It is very fine textured, moist, pliable material with an ashen white color. Creative Paperclay® is clean, odorless and easy to use. It feels similar to an earthen clay; however, it contains no clay in it at all.

It can be sculpted, molded or shaped while it's moist and it accepts and retains fine details. It adheres easily to wood, canvas, and most surfaces without even using glue.

Best of all Creative Paperclay® air dries hard. No need to worry about the fumes associated with polymer clays that are baked in the oven. No hassling with a kiln. When Creative Paperclay® is dried, it's similar to a soft wood. It is very lightweight and durable. It may even be carved or sanded after it's hardened. You can even add moist Paperclay® on to dried pieces. At any stage of the creative process a sculpted piece can always be modified!

When Creative Paperclay® is dried hard it can be painted with any kind of paint; it's just like painting on wood or paper. Or if you prefer water based paint may be kneaded into the Paperclay® while it's still moist. Finally to protect your projects from dirt and moisture it's recommended that you seal whem with a coat of lacquer.

Creative Paperclay® is ideal for making ornaments, dolls, jewelry, miniatures, and models. It's also great for sculpting or adding dimension to painting projects. It can even be used to repair woodwork and plaster moldings around the house. It's the choice of fine artists and crafters alike.
