My name is Leonard
Mckines. I read Yurugu several years ago and found it
very fascinating
and liberating. I have since been striving to look at life
through an African
colored lens. I must say that I really appreciate your
work and the
work of Marimba Ani, and the others who are trying to
contribute to
"our" spiritual awakening. I will be the happiest Afrikan in
the world to
finally have a true spiritual connection with my ancestors.
I realize that
yours is a difficult job, that of learning and educating at
the same time.
But I am grateful
for it. And after learning much more than I know now, I
look forward
to teaching as well. lcmk
