Delphics

In the beginning when Brian Gilroy was in the band we didn't have a name. We didn't need one then though because we didn't play anywhere, we still don't, and we sucked bigtime, we sort of still do though. After Brian was dismissed from his duties, it was just James, Marc , and Jake. It was then with the acquisition of Brandon (our current vocalist) we decided to take the initiative and give this project of ours a name. Our first name, Admiral Solution fell a little short for obvious reasons and amongst the horrible ridicule we decided to excommunicate it. Next, trumpet man Scott joined the band and we were playing the ska and it sounded real nice. We then pooled our immaculate minds together and came up with, "The Undertones," which I still like. However much to our dismay we later discovered that there was a 70's Irish ska pop band called the Undertones. We didn't like that. Great debates arose among the band concerning a new name. There was even a fist fight. But once again we channeled our medullas and finally arived at a name we liked to call "Delphics." Alright, it may sound a little queer, but you're not in the band so we don't care about your opinion, besides it even has a meaning. Delphic: 1. Ambigious in meaning; obscure. Delphics is an approximation of what we're all about and contains a lot of truth. At our rapid rate of evolution, obscurity will be with us for awhile.
