Born : 16-JUN-53 in Paddington, North London, England
From: The Script "An illustrated biography" by Clive Gifford:
He joined the Marillion team originally for the duration of recording the second album but, as history shows, he stayed, becoming the all important fifth member and indeed, the fifth drummer to occupy the drum stool. Ian's session career had propelled him to the heights of his profession. He's worked with everyone from Alvin Stardust to Stevie Wonder, played in West End shows ('Hair' and 'Jesus Chris Superstar') and performed on hundreds of radio and TV jingles. In addition he has toured as a member of one or several members of the band, including Curved Air, The Gordon Giltrap Band and The Steve Hackett Band.

Ian Mosley appears on the following Gordon Giltrap Recordings (there may be others but Giltrap mainly used Simon Phillips & Clive Bunker). Mosley worked with Giltrap mainly towards the end of the Gordon Giltrap Band era. Giltrap has mainly gone out as a solo artist since - and an incredible guitarist he remains!
