Egypt has always fascinated me and others for years. When studying the geneology of thee gods and goddesses, I found that some of the histories and stories of what these gods did, where much like some of the Bible stories of our God and angels and prophets. I was amazed how incest and homosexuality was common place in botth areas. I am not condemning either. I am just bringing out how naive I must have been all these years. Below are some more Egyptian graphics and images found in books, libraries, and the internet. ENJOY!
I wish, somehow, Egypt could have continued on as they were when the Dynasties ruled before Rome destroyed them. The splendor and beauty was like no other.
What Life Brings With life brings death, But with death brings new beginnings. Weap no more for me, For I have taken this last breathe, On this earth to bring my spirit to God. Weap no more for the withered body, That lies on a ricketty old bed. For with my spirit, I shed a worn-out body, To go on to life that has led Me to the bright, white light. My weightless existance Now feeds off the expanse in the distance. I no more fear pain or sorrow, For on the greatness of the future I borrow My new expectation of a painless existance. Bright light and hope abounds Way up in the airy clouds. Do not hesitate to take this time to pray, I have freedom from the worries of day to day, For I am no longer afraid. You must not worry for me, my daughter, But bring compassion and love to others, Show faith to those that alter Their understanding of the afterlife, And help them not to faulter. Weap for me no more, For my work is done. Beyond the heavenly door, My spirit goes to be judged, My just worth not to be begrudged. For the world has been a heavy load, For one tired lady to carry. Now, I have the freedom I lost When I decided to marry. But still not the boss. God has another mission for me, To watch over the only one to be The only one I truley loved, But could only argue with me. Now...my feelings ungloved. ---By Mari Noerr THIS WAS WRITTEN IN SPRING WITH THOUGHTS FROM ANOTHER PATIENT. Spring Has Sprung Now spring has sprung, So many birds sitting on a rung. Happy children playing for all to hear, Silly fish jumping in waters by the peer. Flowers of hundreds of colors and hues, Lush trees to shade our views. Babies of all species are born, Loving mothers become worn. Life abounds for all to see, God grants us the right to be free. Friends give of each other, Their love and compassion neither to bother. So, as what goes around, comes around, Always by that, let us be found. -----by Mari Noerr
I have added some links from search engines and banner exchanges to give you places to travel in the web, that I think will be good. Also, to give my pages more exposure. My pages, one through twelve, are all full. I hope you have enjoyed them. I will be from time to time, adding more links and graphics. If for any reason, I have added something that belongs to someone else, that does not want it here, please let me know, and I will take it off. Thank you.
