Wilford Rodney Richard (Daddy) and Bessie Lee Hammers (MaMa)
Just a little bit about The Richard Family.


In 1939, Wilford Rodney Richard was born in Texas to Millard Victor Richard and Verdie Violet Brown. He has three other brothers and four sisters. His parents lived and are now buried in DeQuincy,Louisiana. Most of his siblings resided in Louisiana.


In 1960, he married Bessie Lee Hammers in Texas. She is the daughter of Fred Hammers and Ruby Lee Wiley of Timpson,Texas. She was born in Texas in 1945. She has two brothers and two sisters,who now resided in Louisiana.

Wilford Rodney and Bessie Lee Richard have five children and twelve grandchildren.

First Child - Lisa Kay Richard born 1962 in Carthage,Texas.

Second Child - Roger Wayne Richard born 1963 in Lake Charles,Louisiana.

Third Child - William Micheal Richard born 1965 in Sulphur,Louisiana.

Fourth Child - Randal Lynn Richard born 1967 in DeRidder,Louisiana.

Fifth Child - Shana Renee Richard born 1970 in Sulphur,Louisiana.

They raised their children in DeQuincy,Louisiana until they where grown.


Our Daddy and MaMa have been divorced since 1983.


Daddy is remarried to Ruby Linn Taylor of Deweyville,Texas.

MaMa is divorced from her second husband and now lives in Shreveport,Louisiana along with two of her children. Two of the children now lives in DeQuincy,Louisiana. And one in the Azores at Lajes Airforce Base.







Roger Wayne Richard & Pennie Ann Parks
Roger Wayne married Pennie Ann Parks in Arkansas. Now divorced.
He now resides in DeQuincy,Louisiana.



William Micheal Richard & Cynthia Nan Aldrich,plus Children

William Micheal married Cynthia Nan in Louisiana in 1986. Now Divorced in 2003.
He now resides in Bossier City,Louisiana.



Randal Lynn Richard & Melissa Kay Kelly
Randal Lynn married Melissa Kay Kelly on 1996 in Louisiana. Now Divorced.
He now resides in DeQuincy,Louisiana.



Lawrence Kenneth Cruz & Shana Renee Richard plus Children

Lawrence Kenneth Cruz married Shana Renee Richard on 1987 in Texas. Now divorced.
She is now remarried to Britt Burke and resides in the Azores at Lajes Airforce Base.
