Report Developer, Logical Database Modeler in Service Metrics / IT Operations
  • Designed, developed, tested and maintained SQL queries and customer reports using the Actuate report environment. Reports run against the Qwest Clarify trouble ticketing system, an Oracle database and other databases from Informix and MySQL.
  • Used ERwin to create models for Qwest Global Notification and Escalation Tool (GNet) which combines existing Call Out and STATDB databases. This combined Oracle database allows relation of corporate hardware, applications and databases into a comprehensive system used for page outs and on-call support. Modeled Operating and Service Level Agreements (OLA/SLA).

  • Department of the Army - Tank and Automotive Command (TACOM) - Worked one-on-one with Project Manager and developers of AMAS, Automated Material Acquisition System, a paperless system for issuing and monitoring the request for materials at TACOM Research and Development sites. Created documentation to be used for initial costing of effort for conversion to Oracle products. Topics covered included focus, users, hardware, users, existing functionality, usage, interfaces, data retention, auditing, and requirements.
  • Tele Communications, Inc. (TCI) - Performed functional testing of custom interface of Timecard data from Oracle HR to Ceridian Systems for payroll. Used Test Director for Test Plan design and Action Request System for control of Product Change Requests. Completed documentation to aid in placing interface testing on hold. This resulted from a merger between the client and AT&T.
  • L-3 Communications - Assisted in initial review of Oracle HRMS as an addition to Jet Pilot Wingman, an effort by Oracle Industrials to tailor Oracle Financials to the Aerospace and Defense community.
  • State of Michigan - Family Independence Agency - Provided logical database modeling using ERwin of State Assistance programs.

  • Detroit Resource Management System (DRMS) - Business Systems Analyst (BSA) for the Payroll section. Prepared Application Implementation Methodology (AIM) Solution Definition documents and gathered reports requirements from clients. Documented both standard and custom report solutions.
