Bingo Workout 002

Here's the next Bingo Workout puzzle. This follows the format of Larry's Scrabble®gram puzzles. Each line has a set of letters which has to be unscrambled to yield a valid SOWPODS word. The 8 letter bingos are to be formed from the same letter set + one more letter as indicated. I have implemented some of John Hart's suggestions to improve the readability of the puzzle and solutions. Thanks John!

This puzzle page will be updated daily with new puzzles. On alternate days I will be posting anagram crosswords and Scrabble®gram type puzzles.

Usually the crosswords which appear in magazines and newspapers include words and phrases which cannot be used while playing Scrabble®. In Scrabble® crosswords, the solutions to all the clues are allowable Scrabble® words.

The anagram crossword puzzle will have anagrams as clues. As far as possible high probability 7-letter and 8-letter words will be included in the puzzles. There is, however, no guarantee that weird words would not be included in the puzzle:-)

The crosswords are interactive and can be solved on the web. Any Java-enabled browser should be able to access the puzzles in the puzzle page. For those who prefer to print it out, printable static versions of the puzzles are also being posted now. Happy solving!

The other puzzles will be similar to the popular Scrabble®gram puzzles. All the words will be allowable CSW bingos. No extra clues will be given, but the letter to be added to the 7 letter stem word will be clearly indicated. Solutions can be accessed by clicking on the solutions link
