Open To All Interested PartiesFour Dates: * April 11, 1999 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM * April 25, 1999 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM May 16, 1999 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM June 19, 1999 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM * These dates are mandatory for new referees and officials who intend to be assigned with MSWA national and regional teams.
All clinics will be at the MSWA tournament site of that date. Report to the competition site for details.
The 1999 FILA rules changes, USA Wrestling modifications and all areas of officiating mechanics will be covered in the various sessions. Included in the training will be discussions of USWOA Policies and Procedures.
High School Students: Attendance at these courses and working as a mat official at MSWA tournaments may be used for credit toward your community service requirement. The Maryland State Wrestling Association is a registered non-profit organization and volunteer hours can be counted toward your required 75 hours for graduation in Maryland.
