The holidays of gift giving are over
And the wrapping paper has been cleared away.

The events of 9-11-01 are gone but will never be forgotten.

The clock is nearing the hour

and the ball is dropping

signalling the end of the old year

and the start of the new.

There will be too much partying

and too much celebrating.
