Titanic won 11 Oscars at the 1998 ACADEMY AWARDS tying for the most Oscars ever one 
by one movie!  Unfortunately, no acting awards were won, even though I really 
thought Gloria Stuart should have won. (but I think 
that Kim Basinger deserved it too!)

     Best Cinematography - Russell Carpenter
     Best Costume Design - Deborah Lynn Scott

     Best Original Dramatic Score - James Horner
     Best Original Song - "My Heart Will Go On", James Horner & Will Jennings 
     Best Sound - Gary Rydstrom, Tom Johnson, Gary Summers, & Mark Ulano
     Best Sound Effects Editing - Tom Bellfort & Christopher Boyes
     Best Visual Effects - Robert Legato, Mark Lasoff, Thomas L. Fisher, & Michael Kanfer


Before the Oscars, Titanic also won 4 awards at the 1998 GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS!
