Thaba Nchu. The word "thaba" means mountain, and "nchu" is black. Notice the mountain in the
background - that is the Black Mountain this area was called after by the native Barolong. The name was probably given because
of dark storm clouds gathering over the mountain before one of the frequent thunder storms.
