I did these in 1975 or 1976, with oil pastels, in art class. (David Bowie and Keith Richards). My art teacher kept the Mick Jagger (hi, mary-louise!)

I really should either use a better camera, or get someone who knows what they are doing to photograph my STUFF! I just stick 'em to the wall with tape, and shoot. . . the flash from my camera washes out a lot of the colour and details. (for example, the cigarette in Keith's mouth looked almost 3-D...you could see the red heater glowing in the ash. . . )

Below is my school id photo, taken when I was 15....that's how old I was when i did these portraits, and that's how I looked when I first met Mike! What was I thinking, straightening my hair like that?
