Milford
High School
The boys finished their season by placing 3rd in the Kent County Meet, 4th in the Conference Meet, and 8th in the Division II State Meet. The girls finished their season by placing 5th in the Kent County Meet, 7th in the Conference Meet, and in the Division II State Meet. Placing third in the Tidewater Fall Classic was one of the season highlights for the boys' team.
Milford has a lot to look forward to in 1999.
Czar Bloom will return to coach the team for the second straight year.
The girls will not lose any runners due to graduation but the boys
will have to say goodbye to Dave Ober, Billy Haines, Bobby O'neill, and
Steve Germann. However, this should not be an obstackle as the boys'
team has a host of up-and-coming runners. Junior Jessi Rivera and
sophomore Jacob Barr are expected to lead Milford in the upcoming season.
