The Vmidi 95 karaoke player is the best of all the karaoke players that
I tested. I recommend that you download it from Vanbasco's website. I paid
$20 for the permanent version and am happy with it. The newly upgraded
version will pop up whenever you click on a MIDI file on the web, and if
there are any lyrics embedded in the MIDI they will scroll across automatically.
The "mixer" appears below the main panel. You can click to mute
or solo each instrument, such as a melody instrument. (You won't want a
melody playing while you are singing.) The melody tracks are sequenced
in for a reference, in case you don't know the melody.
I have for download very high quality MIDI songs. Inside the "Bluegrass and country karaoke" folder, all the songs have karaoke lyrics embedded. In the other folders, they may not. . I have downloaded most of the music from other websites on the net, and have modified them as needed to make them play better. I have added most of the karaoke lyrics to music composed by others. As far a I know the MIDI music if "shareware" or intended to be shared. I have not intentionally included any MIDI compositions which are copyrighted. You can download and use any of my music that you want, but it is illegal to charge money for it, or use it professionally, unless you get permission from the copyright holder.
I use the Winjammer sequencer to create, modify, and add lyrics to MIDI
music.
